The oneFab Scrum Master and Test Manager will guide the team in adopting Agile practices and delivering measurable business value while also leading the full testing lifecycle for our MES projects.

Scrum Master / Test Manager (temporary assignment)

As a scrum Master you are end-to-end responsible for helping the team realize its sprint goals while maintaining focus on business value delivery. As a Test Manager, you will define and coordinate testing activities and make sure that every release meets the highest standards.

The assignment

As a Scrum Master, you will guide the oneFab team toward self-organization, high performance, and continuous improvement. You are end-to-end responsible for helping the team realize its sprint goals while maintaining focus on business value delivery.

This means that you will:

Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Coach the team on Agile principles and best practices to improve delivery performance.

Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with the Program and Project Manager, ICT Solution Architect, business stakeholders and several development partners to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.

As a Test Manager, you will define and coordinate testing activities and make sure that every release meets the highest standards. Working closely with developers, analysts, and product owners, you will turn business requirements into effective test plans and ensure seamless delivery.

This means that you will:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy and planning for MES projects.

Coordinate functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.

Analyze and report test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

Actively contribute to process improvements and quality standards.

 

Required knowledge and skills

You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

You have a strong and proven track record as both a Scrum Master and a software Test Manager.

You’re a natural team player with a no-nonsense, supportive leadership style.

You possess excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire.

You bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

You are an exceptional communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders across imec.

You’re assertive, yet diplomatic—able to challenge priorities and negotiate deadlines when needed.

You’re fluent in both Dutch and English.

You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and experience with MES systems is a strong plus.

You’re experienced with Office 365 tools (particularly SharePoint and MS Teams), Azure DevOps for Scrum planning and testing, and automated testing tools like Tricentis Tosca.
